Wilma had 3 sisters and 1 brother. In addition to her work in the mills she worked at Ye Olde English Fish & Chips. She had 2 children.

Yvette was born in Central Falls and had 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She spoke French growing up. her first job was at 14 working summers in a playground.She met her husband while working part time in the lumber yard. They had 7 children.

Thelma Dattoli

Thelma was one of seven children. She had two brothers and four sisters. She grew up speaking Italian. She had to give up her job at Lorraine Mill because the hours were too demanding for raising children. She was able to make her own hours at a jewelry shop in North Providence instead. She and her husband, who was an oilman, had four sons.

Gloria Tripodi

Gloria was born in Woonsocket in 1926 and had a younger brother. Her parents separated when she was a toddler. She moved to New York with her mother while her brother stayed with their father. She returned to Woonsocket when she was 10. During WWII she worked at US Rubber cementing the bottoms of marine boats and inspecting them. She married and had 3 children. She worked the 2nd shift while her husband worked the 1st. She stopped working and had 3 more children. She has 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Doris Bouley

Doris was born in Woonsocket in 1930, the sixth of eleven children. She had five brothers and 5 sisters. She married at 18 and had 6 children., 5 boys and 1 girl. She now has 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. After she stopped working in the mills she spent 3 years working in the flower shop across from the old police station. Her favorite job was Uniroyal because she had a different job each day.
