After Edward Harris' death in 1872, his properties were sold to other companies. Little is known of the interests who purchased this mill site.
Hamlet Mill
The Hamlet Mill closed in 1842. While we know that there was another functioning mill that took over the site during this era, nothing is known about its production. The property would later be sold to French mill interests for the construction of the French Worsted.
