The Sydney Blumenthal Company operated the mill as a textile business until 1955. While the mill would remain active for another forty years, it would never operate as a textile mill again. Its next occupant was Royal Electric, fabricators of electrical equipment. When Royal Electric closed in 1965, ITT Wire & Cable took over similar production until 1971.
The building remained vacant for the next 3 years. At that time, Bancroft Sporting Goods Company took over, producing tennis equipment until 1988. Rosecraft, a jewelry manufacturing company, then occupied the building from 1988 to 1994. The building then became vacant for another 3 years until Off Shoots took over producing sports equipment at the site until 2002.
